A41 is Closed owing to fire at The Long Dog Pub in Waddesdon

We have been notified by Thames Valley Police that the A41 is closed at Waddesdon (both directions), owing to a fire at The Long Dog Pub.  Therefore, if you are travelling from Aylesbury to Grendon Underwood, please can you leave as soon as you can to collect your children from school.  There is a divert from Aylesbury via Berryfields, to Quainton, into Grendon.  Please spread the word so everyone can know they can collect their children early, should  they be affected by the road closure.

FroGS Pamper Evening

Calling all parents, friends and grandparents……. While your children are dancing their socks off at the Christmas disco on Friday 4th December, FroGS are holding a Pamper and Shopping Event 3.30 – 6.45. Drop them off, then treat yourself to a festive fruity drink or mulled wine and a mince pie while you browse the fabulous selection of stalls and maybe treat yourself to a little pampering! Stalls include; silver jewellery, Phoenix cards, Forever Living, Neal’s Yard Remedies, beaded decorations and jewellery, Temple Spa Products, craft bundles, knitted soft toys, candles, bathbombs and soaps, ladies’ scarves, Christmas decorations, Homemade cakes and biscuits, Chocoholics, Arbonne products……! Pampering treats include hand peel treatments, facial demonstrations, Gelish manicures, mini Indian head massage, mini facials, Reiki taster sessions, hand massage and more! Please join our Muddy Boots Nursery at St. Leonard’s Church from 9.30am.

Following the nativity, parents are welcome to come back to the school for a mince pie of two.

Muddy Boots Nativity & FroGS Christmas Disco & Pamper evening

I can’t believe it is the 1st December tomorrow, I’m so excited I could burst! I just love all that is Christmas!

We have a fun packed Christmas week, starting with The Tree Lighting ceremony on Tuesday, Muddy Boots Nativity on Friday and the FroGS Disco & Pamper Evening on Friday evening.  And that’s just for starters!

Muddy Boots will be hosting their annual nativity at St. Leonard’s Church on Friday 4th December at 9.45am.  Please see the latest newsletter and Muddy Boots page for further information.

 

FroGS Christmas Disco & Pamper Eveing & Mufti Day

Friday is MUFTI Day for the Christmas Disco.  Please bring in a bottle and chocolates in for the tombola, and in return you can come to school in your favourite outfit (no onesies or football shirts please).

The first disco for Reception & KS1 (optional Yr3) is from 3.30 – 5pm (If your child is going to the disco straight from school, please ensure you have returned your envelope to the school office with the disco and tuck money and details of who will be collecting from the disco).

The second disco for KS2 (optional Yr3) will be from 5.15pm – 6.45pm.

Finally, there will be a Pamper Evening with lots of amazing stalls, and treatments on offer, so make sure you bring your purse with you.
