Choosing the right nursery to meet your child’s needs can be a complex decision and an important one for both parents and child.

Our Ethos

At Muddy Boots Nursery we provide a friendly, relaxed, safe and secure environment for children. We offer a child-centred approach where children are encouraged to develop their individuality, creativity, independence and self-confidence led by caring and highly skilled staff. We support the children so they feel positive in all areas of their lives and learning.

The EYFS Team

The team has a wealth of experience and qualifications. Mrs Zverko holds a degree in Early Years Childcare and Primary Education, SENCO & Safeguarding Lead. Mrs Susan West holds a Level 4 in Childcare and is also a Forest School Leader. Mrs Rachel Biswell holds a Level 6 Foundation Degree in Early Years.  Support staff  (Wendy Kerr, Anita Matthews) specialise in Speech & Language and (Ella Barrow) a Multi Sensory Intervenor providing 1:1 support for children with additional needs with (Educational Health Care Plans). Nursery assistants are highly experienced and are a great asset to the team.

The EYFS Leader is Mrs Jayne Meyers. This staffing ensures that our nursery children are provided with the best possible start in their learning. Every child is allocated a learning leader who will help to ensure that your child’s learning and care is tailored to meet their individual needs.


Our sessions run from 08:50am – 11:50pm and 12:10pm – 3:10pm.  If you would like your child to have additional sessions to the 15 funded hours, we charge £15 a session plus an additional £1 if your child brings a packed lunch/school hot dinner.

Spaces currently available for 2,3,4 year olds.
