Homework

READING – Reading is one of the most important things you can do with your child to help them learn. Please try and read with them and to them as much as possible.

SPELLINGS – We will send home spellings on Fridays to be tested on the following Thursday. All spellings will be words taken from the Year 1 word lists.

NUMBER BONDS – Number bonds will be tested fortnightly. We will let you know on Class Dojo when they are ready to move up to the next level.

Play and Learn at Home

Twice a half term, we will send home a fun activity for you to do with your child. This is to support their learning through play and so they can continue to grow their brain at home with you.
